I will describe how I created them. I will also list the techniques I use to create my designs.



All scrapbook layouts are created using archival safe products. I use only the best quality materials and a wide variety of special tools and techniques AND the knowledge I have gained over the years. I take a lot of pride in my work and it is important to me that my custom designs will bring a smile to your face. A scrapbook album tells a story, YOUR story.

This layout is of myself on vacation in beautiful Michigan. A waterfall is behind me. This is an 8 by 8.5 inch layout. I choose the 2 papers. I choose a green and a patterned paper. Both match each other.

When I create a layout I like to take the colors that are in the picture and use them for the layout. It was autumn so I wanted to use these 2 papers. I used the solid green as the main background and the patterned paper which I used for matting and the lower portion of the layout.

I matted the pic twice. Under that I used clay and stamps to create the phrases. I cut the clay out. Took the stamps and pressed them into the clay. I heated it up at 200 degrees for 15 mins. Then I took an embossing pen to outline the letters then I put gold embossing powder on it and heated it up. I wanted the words to be more visible. On the bottom part I took the green paper and made a thin frame to put around the patterned paper. Then I matted the 3 individual cardstock stickers with the green paper. Your Done!



This picture was taken on the same vacation trip to Michigan. It's Munising Falls in the Upper Peninsula.

To create the layout I started with the right side. I double matted the photo with light and dark green cardstock. I added the "vine" stickers which I elevated with foam squares.

To finish that off I put a metal charm above it. On the right side I added the journaling on white cardstock. I first matted it with The Paper Studio – Aqua Dots then with Aqua Texture & Orange Cardstock. Under that I put 2 standard washers and held them on by silicone glue dots. I placed a cardstock stickers under them and matted it with green cardstock. If you don't matt it, it will blend in with the "The Paper Studio" Aqua Paisley paper under it. DONE!



Michigan in Autumn -

First, I matted the photograph twice. Once with green and another with dark green cardstock.

I place a ribbon across the top to separate the title "Autumn" from the rest of the layout. I then added 2 gold embossed butterflies on each side of it. Above the photograph I added a metal charm to show the date. I placed 2 braids to secure it. I added stickers to border the left side of the layout. I matted them with dark green cardstock. I embossed the word "Michigan" with my embossing pen made by ZIP and green embossing powder. On the right of that I cut out 2 identical leafs from another scrapbook paper. I elevated one over the other for dimension. To finish it off I added a vellum phrase sticker that reads "If you come to a fork in the road, take it.
